Perpetual Trustee Company Ltd has provided custodial services to Richmond Mortgage Fund since 2001 and Richmond Cash Fund since 2010.

The Custodian's Role

As custodian, Perpetual Trustee Company Ltd undertake the following roles for Richmond Mortgage Fund and Richmond Cash Fund:

Asset Custody

  • Legal ownership of scheme assets
  • Transacting and recording all movements of scheme assets.
  • Holding and recording all title documentation in secure, scheme segregated facilities.
  • Arranging the execution of documents in accordance with instructions from the Responsible Entity.

Financial Custody

  • Holding and recording all investments in scheme identifiable bank accounts.
  • Receipt of all scheme income.
  • Various reporting including Asset Holding Report, Custodian Compliance Report.
